Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design team to deliver projects that meet customer specifications and comply with relevant standards.
- Approve HV plant design deliverables, including single line diagrams, layout drawings, and earthing designs.
- Act as the Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE)
- Ensure all models and drawings undergo thorough review and approval processes.
- Manage interdisciplinary design gaps and contribute to the development and training of the design team.
- Oversee the planning and procurement responsibilities for substation projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Education & Qualifications:

- Graduate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards this status.
- Member of IET (MIET).

Experience:

- Over 10 years in a Design Office environment, with significant experience in HV substation design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is advantageous.
- Proven track record in liaising with customers and suppliers, and in performing design integrity calculations.
