Key Responsibilities

- Support the Subsea Cables Package Manager in all project phases, from design to execution.
- Lead tendering, negotiation, and contract award processes for subsea cable installation contractors.
- Review and recommend contractor proposals, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Assess technical feasibility and risks, providing comprehensive evaluations.
- Assist the Permitting team in obtaining necessary local approvals.
- Manage schedules and interfaces with suppliers and contractors, addressing timing and technical challenges.
- Identify and report significant risks, developing contingency plans.
- Coordinate with cross-discipline teams, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
- Oversee offshore installation contractors and vessel suppliers.
- Drive quality and safety standards across all project phases.
- Conduct HAZID and HAZOP studies, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex EPCI or large infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience as a T&I Manager or Lead Engineer for subsea cables T&I scope.
- Familiarity with supply chain contract management and industry standards.
- Strong knowledge of lifting and marine operations standards.
- Understanding of HSE management principles.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Culturally aware with high emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and shape processes.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Taiwan.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
