They have ambitious plans to grow the portfolio by 1GW year on year, and also enter the Onshore Wind and BESS markets. The Junior PV Engineer shall support the Technical Manager and Senior Engineers on the daily design activities for utility scale PV projects. They will prepare and review the Engineering design packages (Mechanical, Civil and Electrical) for large scale PV and BESS projects during all project phases.Key Responsibilities Assessment of site topography, potential constraints, main components sizing and selection of suitable technology for PV design at early stages of development. Role Responsibilities The C&I PV Design Engineering Manager will be an integral part of the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Generation Team, situated within the Development Directorate. Their role will encompass leading the Design Engineering team to provide comprehensive support for projects across their entire lifecycle, spanning from origination through construction and into operation. Our C&I Generation Team is dedicated to providing onsite energy solutions to large industrial and commercial clients. These projects typically involve the construction and direct integration of energy solutions into client-owned sites, with project sizes generally ranging from 200kWp to 25MWp. As part of the C&I team, the PV Design Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional PV Solar Engineering services. They will consistently demonstrate their ability to add value in a fiercely competitive and ever-evolving marketplace, all while upholding the highest engineering and quality standards. Their contribution is crucial to maintaining Engineering Excellence in our PV Solar Projects, especially as we experience rapid growth and diversification across various technologies. The PV Design Engineering Manager, with the support of the Director of Development, will take the lead in designing and approving high-quality solar systems in support of my clients' overarching C&I business objectives.
