Our client is looking for an Connections Manager to join their team and lead connection contract management processes and be responsible for the stakeholder management of generator customers to support efficient generation connection to the business’ network. The Connections Manager is a senior manager who will report to the Director of Engineering and Customer Connections. This role has a key co-ordination component with System Network Design, Finance, Grid & Regulation, Engineering and the companies project teams to manage the connection contract and stakeholder engagement of generators and will require an understanding of the contract clauses and their application to a distribution connections contract. Our client is looking for a Commissioning Manager the successful candidate will be reporting to the Technical Project Manager and be responsible for the overall management, execution, and coordination of onshore and offshore commissioning activities. You will be responsible for securing interfaces, as well as identification of deliverables and supporting documentation in close corporation with the package managers. The Commissioning Manager will play an important role in the implementation and management of commissioning procedures, including electrical safety, working as an integral part of the project team to ensure that the offshore wind farm project is commissioned in accordance with project specifications. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance whilst ensuring coordination between onshore and offshore activities. This includes liaising between the project and its stakeholders when it comes to safety, testing, commissioning, and energisation/operations.
