As Foundation Interface Engineer, you will be actively supporting the WTG Foundation Package. Your daily task will be to closely manage the WTG Foundation interfaces related to all other packages, e.g.: WTG, Cables, T&I and Certifying Authority. You will be directly involved in the planning, scheduling, design and coordination of all WTG Foundation interface related activities throughout the development and execution of the wind farm.

Key Accountabilities

• Internal Interface Management and coordination of the secondary steel design with the WTG Contractor.
• Internal Interface Management and coordination of the cable support structure design with the Cables Installation Contractor.
• Monitoring, reviewing and commenting on the design, planning and engineering works and documentation from the design contractor as well as from other interfacing packages.
• Management and coordination of the Foundation Package document's review cycles with external stakeholders such as: Project Certification Body and Lenders' Technical Advisor.
• General administrative tasks within the Foundation Package, e.g.: taking minutes, preparing presentations, managing trackers and registers, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities
Supporting the other works within the Foundation Package, i.e. design related, fabrication related and/or T&I related activities, such as:

• Participate in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP for foundation detailed design.
• Documentation review and comment.
• Ensure that the technical best practices are implemented.
• Support procurement activities, e.g. for Free-Issued items, CMS, etc.
• Provide support for the preparation of budgetary estimates.
• Risk/opportunity identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Ensure knowledge transfer.
• Support Lessons Learnt process.

Experience/Requirements

• University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable background,
• Minimum of 5 years' working experience within a complex multi-disciplinary project environment, where:
• at least 3 of the 5 years, are related to Foundation Package Interface management in relation to other Offshore Wind Farm Packages, and
• at least 2 of the 5 years, are related to Foundation Detailed Design work
• Proficiency in the English language (writing, speaking, listening, and reading),
• Proficiency in the Korean language (writing, speaking, listening, and reading) will be an advantage,
• Good people skills and stakeholder management,
• Good office and project management IT skills, and
• An eye for detail
