As an HSE Advisor focusing on the WTG package, including commissioning, your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the project meets its goals and adheres to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the client’s delivery team in achieving compliance with project goals, company standards, and statutory responsibilities related to SHE and work management.
- Provide the project manager with essential reports and statistics.
- Report directly to the project manager and HSE Manager.
- Review contractor RAMS and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations.
- Assist in developing local procedures and standards for SHE aspects related to work processes or assets.
- Prepare and review formal reports such as SEARS, Accident Investigations, High Potential/Near Hits, Internal audit reports, and various SHE reports.
- Lead incident investigations and formally communicate learnings.
- Actively monitor site health and safety, collaborating with other client disciplines and contractors to implement improvements.
- Monitor contractor’s monthly safety observations and assist in trend analysis.
- Develop HSE drills with contractors and implement improvements arising from these drills.
- Foster and promote a positive safety culture throughout the site and project.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Proven experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within the wind turbine or renewable energy sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SHE regulations and CDM Regulations.
- Strong analytical skills to prepare and review detailed reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations and communicate findings.
- Proactive approach to monitoring and improving health and safety standards.
- Ability to develop and implement HSE drills and procedures.
