Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, and commissioning of SCADA systems.
- Ensure SCADA design work adheres to CDM regulations throughout design and construction stages.
- Develop and maintain engineering procedures and policies for consistent project delivery.
- Attend working groups as a protection and control authority to support network development.
- Ensure compliance with NESO grid code, ENA, Distribution code, and other applicable standards.
- Support policy changes to improve engineering design and drive efficiency.
- Report progress and manage risks, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external entities such as DNOs, TOs, NESO, and customers.

What We're Looking For

- Degree in electrical engineering, control systems, or relevant experience.
- Proven track record as a SCADA engineer in energy project delivery, preferably within a regulated network.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols, network architectures, and SCADA platforms.
- Familiarity with CDM regulations and delivery to regulated engineering standards.
- Strong communication and engagement skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
- High standard of written and oral English for clear, precise communication.
- Organised and capable of managing multiple engineering tasks across projects.
- Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
