Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Portfolio Leadership: Own the strategic direction and performance of the transmission systems portfolio, developing and implementing growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- P&L Management: Drive sustainable profitability through operational efficiency, managing operational budgets and resource allocation across the portfolio.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent delivery of integrated asset management services, driving operational efficiency through standardisation and best practice implementation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop Project Managers, providing strategic direction to the Control Centre Manager and Stores & Logistics Manager.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with OFTOs, generators, and system operators, leading contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Safety and Compliance: Champion a safety culture across all transmission operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

What You Bring:

- Educational Background: Degree qualified or professional registration (IEng/CEng) in a relevant engineering discipline. Post-graduate or professional qualification, e.g., chartered engineer status, is desirable.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a leadership role for engineering in an international business, with a strong background in offshore wind transmission systems and OFTO operations.
- Skills: Advanced understanding of transmission infrastructure operations and asset management, experience managing complex, multi-site operations with significant P&L responsibility, and a track record of delivering operational excellence in regulated utility environments.
