As a key member of our client's HR team in Poland, you will play a vital role in implementing core HR processes and initiatives that elevate the employee experience. Reporting to the HR Services Manager for Europe, you will lead local HR projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and strengthening workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for operational roles on the project.
  • Onboarding: Coordinate a seamless onboarding experience, which includes writing contracts, organizing medical cover & SEKA appointments and training, and enrolling employees into payroll.
  • Employee Experience: Act as a point of contact for employee enquiries related to HR policies, processes, and systems. Help ensure a positive employee experience by facilitating smooth and efficient HR services, including issuing required employee documents such as employment confirmation letters, address changes, referrals to Medicover, etc.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all HR processes comply with Polish regulations. Stay up to date on labour laws, benefits regulations, and other HR compliance areas.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and operational needs, both proactively and as needs arise. Administer registrations & access to portals from the government.
  • Benefits Programs: Administer company benefits
  • Payroll: Take responsibility for running an accurate payroll service in Poland, communicate with external payroll partner and third parties (tax office, social security) as appropriate.
  • HR Systems: Evaluate, research, and implement improvements to HR systems, including supporting team with rollout of time tracking in Poland.
  • Partnership: Effectively manage and partner with external vendors, including communication regarding financial topics, such as invoices, wellness benefit etc.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement new ways to streamline processes to create additional efficiencies in HR service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an HR Generalist role with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including:, onboarding, compliance, HRIS and benefits and recruitment
  • Your experience will have given you a good understanding of employment law in Poland
  • You are fluent in Polish and English (speaking & writing)
  • You have a strong understanding of employment processes and policies and can contribute to policy and process development
  • You have experience working with payroll (using an external payroll provider) and understand the key topics relating to payroll administration
  • You have experience using Workday
