Role Overview:
The Site Coordination Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing the contractor’s documentation for site activities, reviewing lifting plans and rigging drawings, and participating in crucial meetings such as kick-off and toolbox sessions. This position requires a proactive individual who can coordinate daily site activities in collaboration with the contractor’s representative and assist with onboarding third-party contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Oversight: Review and understand RAMS and QHSE documents before the execution phase begins. Ensure the contractor adheres to approved RAMS and any approved MoC, verifying the implementation of safety protocols and risk mitigation.
- Daily Progress Reporting: Track site mobilisation, logistics, and construction readiness. Report on milestones, issues, safety observations, and deviations.
- Coordination: Serve as the liaison between the client, contractors, and third-party stakeholders. Communicate issues and assist in their timely resolution.
- QHSE Oversight: Monitor compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements. Track and review incident reports and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site inspections, document quality issues, and support corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain inspection records, submit progress reports, and review and sign off on as-built records of the installation and commissioning.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in offshore installation or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of RAMS and QHSE documentation.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections and document findings.
- Proficiency in reviewing and commenting on technical documentation.
- Experience in participating in safety and coordination meetings.
