Client Representative - Cable Pull In

Our client is in search of a Client Representative Offshore to join their team on an Installation Support Vessel. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to the Project’s HSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
- Review and update health and safety documents before and during the execution phase.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR), ensuring they are signed by all required parties.
- Conduct onsite reviews of as-built documentation, focusing on cable installation and test/termination documentation.
- Ensure contractor compliance with technical and operational requirements.
- Attend and contribute to daily meetings, toolbox talks, and project meetings.
- Participate in pre- and post-project meetings to review performance and identify improvements.
- Monitor Safety Observations Cards (SOCs) and report any concerns.
- Act as a witness during key installation activities.
- Conduct planned HS&E inspections on behalf of the HSE Team when necessary.
- Participate in safety walks and report any safety-related observations.
- Gather detailed information in the event of incidents or accidents to support investigations.
- Assist the Packages Quality Manager with walkdowns, progress monitoring, and non-conformance identification.
Certifications Required:
- GWO Training: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- Current valid medical certificate for offshore work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet; GIS (QGIS/ARC GIS) and drafting software (DWGtrueview, AutoCAD) is desirable.
- Experience with inspection/auditing software in a construction environment is advantageous.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar offshore renewable industry roles.
- Strong knowledge of offshore construction contracts and their implications.
- Profound understanding of offshore operations, particularly cable pull-in operations.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including IMO & IMCA guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English.
