Our client is seeking a Senior Authorised Person – 66kV. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the safety and efficiency of offshore wind farms, while advancing your professional skills and competencies.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe working practices are in place, report incidents, undertake risk assessments and audits, and promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
- Perform SAP duties as required, reporting to the Lead SAP.
- Produce and review switching schedules.
- Provide isolations and safety documentation for the Client’s offshore wind farm.
- Work under Renewable Electrical Safety Rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules).
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
- Provide personal supervision where required.
- Conduct and review risk assessments.
Further shared responsibilities within the wider team include driving the commissioning process by representing the Project’s standards for safety and quality, with scope to develop personal competencies under the WTSRs and commissioning walkdowns.
Requirements:
- Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step.
- Offshore HUET.
- Knowledge of WTG WTSR.
- Knowledge of Model Distribution Safety Rules.
- Experience with WTGs, TPs, IACs, and OSP/OSSs.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above.
- 33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience will also be considered.
