Role Details:
- Location: Turin, with 2-3 days in the office per week.
- Experience: Seeking a PV Electrical Engineer fluent in Italian, with robust experience in EPC and construction within the photovoltaic sector. Design experience is essential.
- Team Dynamics: Collaborate with a diverse team including developers, finance professionals, and a construction expert. The team has a strong pipeline with 25MW ready to build and 700MW in development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Develop and optimize the design of PV systems, including system sizing, module layout, and electrical configurations.
- Secondary Permitting: Being able to address the requirements of the prescription of the Authorization Decree of an approved project and managing the relations with the local authorities.
- Technical Analysis: Perform energy yield simulations and technical feasibility studies.
- Project Management: Oversee installation projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Compliance: Ensure all PV systems comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare or review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement specialists, and contractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of PV systems.
- Proficiency in PV simulation tools such as PVsyst, QGIS or similar.
- Strong knowledge of electrical Italian systems and standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in both Italian and English is essential, with knowledge of Spanish considered an advantage.
