Scott has been recruiting within the Solar PV industry since 2014, successfully placing experienced professionals across more than 10 European countries. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from Project Development to Asset Management, including Investment and Finance, as well as Module/Inverter Sales.

Over the years, Scott has built and maintained strong relationships with leading asset owners and IPPs in the PV industry, providing tailored recruitment solutions and attending key industry events to stay ahead of market trends.

Scott joined LSP Renewables in March 2021 as a Senior Consultant, and due to his outstanding contributions, he was recently promoted to Head of Solar. In this role, he is responsible for managing and expanding our dedicated Solar division, continuing to drive growth and deliver exceptional talent solutions within the solar energy sector.

Business Development Manager - Onshore Renewables UK

LSP Renewables have partnered with an international fund headquartered in the UK to recruit a Business Development Manager in London, to originate Onshore Wind, Solar PV, and BESS projects, building a development pipeline through a combination of partnerships with local developers and internally originated projects. They have assets/operations in Spain, Italy, US, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru, South Africa, Mexico, Algeria, and Canada, with a 2.2 GW portfolio of assets in operation. In 2023, the renewable sector represented 73% of the Company’s revenue. Key Responsibilities Build a development pipeline in the UK through partnerships with local developers and internally originated projects. Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Perform analysis of the UK energy market to identify business opportunities across Onshore Wind, Solar PV and BESS technologies. Conduct, coordinate and carry out commercial strategic planning, determining the critical success factors, in line with the companies objectives. Negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) as well as submission of CfDs, that may be required for the development of the companies projects. Liaison with trade associations in the energy sector. Requirements Degree educated in a relevant discipline Several years experience in the UK renewable energy industry, within an origination/business development capacity Strong network in the UK onshore renewables industry
