WTG Commissioning Manager
Key Responsibilities:Ensure the Contractor complies with the commissioning Employer’s Requirements.Coordinate the Employer’s activities within the commissioning scope in close coordination with HSE and QualityAccountable for the execution of the commissioning scope in accordance with the Contract, Programme, quality and other project deliverables.Responsible for ensuring the WTG Package complies with the Project commissioning plan.Collaborate closely with the Project Quality Manger to ensure WTG quality is met and defects/issues are properly managed.Collaborate closely with the Project Lead Commissioning Manager, to ensure WTG commissioning is completed in accordance with and synchronised to the overall wind farm commissioning plan and Hai Long Electrical Safety Rules.Coordinate the project’s personnel offshore to ensure adequate coverage to manage the Contractor’s commissioning activities.Liaise with the WTG T&I team to coordinate the commissioning works.Liaise with the ONS team for grid code compliance testing.Participate in risk management within the WTG package.Support Change Management procedures in the WTG package, including variation orders and claims.Support QA/QC during installation and commissioning of the Works, in close collaboration with the Quality team, including coordinating relevant inspections and liaising with the internal WTG Technical team for the resolution of non-conformities.Review of commissioning related documentation, including key deliverables from the Contractor, and supporting the validation of related payments, invoices and guaranteesKey Requirements:Degree in Engineering (or equivalent), or experience in a commissioning role within onshore wind or offshore wind industry.At least 4 years’ experience preferably within WTG package during project development and/or execution in a similar or role. Work experience in APAC or with a WTG OEM a plus.Good communicator able to build sound business relationships and represent them in project meetings and presentationsCompetent when dealing with health and safety standards, quality standards, best practice, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.Willing to travel and work across multiple locations (including offshore) as required.Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.A team player with the ability and motivation to work in a diverse environment with people of different cultural backgrounds.Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude.Ability to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships at different seniority levels.IT literate and able to learn and make full use of internal systems.Organised and process-driven, able to work independently or collaboratively as suits the situation best.
Head of Project Development
Job Overview: The Head of Solar Power Plant Development is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of solar power plant/battery storage development projects. This role involves strategic planning, project management, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategies for the successful development of solar power projects, including site selection, land securitization, grid availability, feasibility studies, and financial modellingProject Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of solar power plant projects from conception to completion, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Prepare all relevant application files, follow up the application processTeam Leadership: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and other professionals to achieve project goalsStakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, local communities, investors, advisors, lawyers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progressionBudget Management: Oversee the budget and financial aspects of solar power projects, ensuring they are completed within the allocated resourcesRegulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, national, and international environmental, health, and safety standardsInnovation and Sustainability: Promote the adoption of innovative technologies and sustainable practices in renewable energy sectorQualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fieldExtensive experience in solar power plant development or related renewable energy projects. Ideally 10 years’ experience in the Renewable Energy Business, 5 years’ solid experience in developing greenfield Solar PV projectsProven track record in project management and team leadershipStrong understanding of financial modeling and budget managementExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel frequently across ItalyGIS, PV Syst (or equivalent) knowledgeNative for local language and Fluent in English

Accountabilities Include:Responsible for the technical leadership within the HVDC package team to deliver the engineering design in line with the project engineering strategy. Responsible for the delivery of the engineering design in line with the Large Capital Projects governance framework Responsible for the management of 3rd parties for the effective delivery of specific engineering and design works required within the package, and for the quality management and verification of their work and outcomes. Responsible for the management of complex engineering interfaces across multiple project packages. Responsible for the resolution of engineering design issues within the package, and escalation where appropriate including appropriate communication and reporting requirements to ensure visibility of risks and issues to senior management teams.Responsible for the coordination of appropriate Technical Authorities for technical support and to provide independent expert opinion and approval across design reviews, key decisions, and risk reviews.
