Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Balance of Plant (BoP) Technician to join their team for an offshore wind farm project currently in the construction phase. The BoP Technician will be responsible for supporting installation, inspection, and maintenance of BoP systems, including on/offshore substations, cables, and foundations and etc. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and a thorough understanding of offshore operations, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational readiness for the wind farm’s infrastructure. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of Balance of Plant components, including electrical substations, inter-array cables, export cables, foundations, and supporting structures.Conduct regular inspections to ensure all BoP components meet quality and safety standards.Identify potential issues and collaborate with engineering and construction teams to resolve them efficiently.Diagnose and resolve issues with BoP systems during the construction phase.
