A leading client in the energy sector is seeking a full-time Senior Origination Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of driving origination efforts across multiple electricity infrastructure sectors, including brownfield offshore wind transmission assets (OFTOs), onshore transmission projects (CATOs), and grid stability assets. The successful candidate will lead a key OFTO project currently at the Preferred Bidder stage through to financial close.

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead market analysis and research to support strategy, project origination, and bidding activities.
- Develop bidding plans, programmes, and budgets for timely, accurate, and competitive bids.
- Comply with internal governance and stage gate processes, preparing and presenting materials to management boards.
- Lead tender processes across different regimes, creating and structuring consortium and partnering arrangements.
- Coordinate and lead bid processes, including tender clarifications, strategy development, and competitive reviews.
- Manage due diligence processes and advisors across disciplines.
- Oversee financing and debt funding processes, ensuring best terms and understanding of project risks.
- Ensure smooth transition of delivered projects to operations with all necessary handover documentation.
- Support broader origination functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in leading infrastructure origination or bidding, infrastructure advisory, or construction management.
- Proficiency in data and spreadsheet analysis tools.

Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in leading OFTO transaction processes.
- Experience in complex greenfield infrastructure project tender processes with private-sector funding.
- Knowledge of the electricity transmission or offshore wind sector.
- Accreditation: IFS, RICS, or CIPS.
