Role Overview:
The Onshore Cables Package Manager will oversee all aspects of the onshore cable works, from installation to reinstatement, ensuring seamless handover to operations teams. This role demands a strategic approach to project management, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the onshore cable works package, ensuring timely and safe completion of all tasks.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the package team.
- Coordinate with other packages and interface managers, supporting the Consent and Land team and third parties.
- Monitor project quality KPIs with the support of Quality Managers.
- Ensure compliance with consenting, legal, and industry standards.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- High-level safety qualifications are advantageous.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES).
- Extensive experience in onshore cable installation projects; experience in substation construction or large-scale linear projects is a plus.
- Proven track record in civil engineering and construction management.
- Excellent understanding of civil engineering techniques, including trenchless methods.
- Knowledge of HV cable systems is preferred.
- Fluent in English, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in large-scale renewable projects is desirable.
