- Feasibility Screening: Conduct initial feasibility assessments, considering legislation impacts, environmental issues, and location mapping.
- Report Coordination: Ensure all necessary reports and business cases are prepared to meet development authorisation processes.
- Government Liaison: Maintain relationships with local government departments to understand project requirements and impacts.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms for land and feedstock.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in developing renewable projects in the UK.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK AD sector and regulations.
- Strong understanding of land agreements, grid connections, and planning consent processes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across various disciplines.
- Familiarity with investment principles and project financing.
- Financial modelling experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
- UK Driver's Licence and willingness to travel nationally and to the EU.
