As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in the development of the offshore wind site, a project that will not only accelerate the energy transition but also position the Netherlands as a global leader in offshore wind. This position is integral to the Project Services team, reporting to the Lead Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project delivery, ensuring adherence to safety, budget, and quality standards. The role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress, and providing early warnings of potential delays. The Project Planner will work closely with various stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure the project remains on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the complete planning controls structure, including Key Performance Indicators.
- Contribute to Employer Contractor reporting requirements to ensure efficient planning control.
- Create and maintain baseline schedules for project sub-elements.
- Implement and comply with planning and progress monitoring procedures.
- Review and challenge Contractors’ Planning and Progress Measurement & Monitoring procedures.
- Conduct monthly progress updates, forecast analyses, and trend analyses.
- Assess and incorporate the impact of approved changes and deviations from key project targets.
- Liaise with Project Engineering personnel to ensure understanding of key schedule sensitivities and drivers.
- Translate the project’s risk profile into probabilistic risk analysis.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Engineering Degree and/or Certification.
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a planning engineering role, preferably in offshore wind.
- Strong commitment to HSSE Leadership.
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale complex projects.
- Proficiency in Planning tools, particularly Primavera P6.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Primavera Risk Analysis and Microsoft Project is advantageous.
- Knowledge of offshore wind farm design and development is a strong plus.
- Good command of English; Dutch is advantageous but not required.
