Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onshore and offshore elements of the DCO application through the Examination phase.
- Oversee the deliverables of consultants in your areas of responsibility.
- Engage with stakeholders on relevant EIA topics, ensuring strong cooperation within the project team.
- Identify and communicate project risks to the Strategic Consent Lead and Workstream Consenting Manager.
- Support Ground Investigation Survey works from a consenting perspective, providing risk management and advice.
Key Tasks:
- Deliver Examination Strategy, Statements of Common Ground, and responses to the Examining Authority.
- Ensure the offshore and onshore elements of the project are consented on time and within budget.
- Influence examination strategy to minimise risk in relevant EIA areas.
- Lead external stakeholder engagement, resulting in final Statements of Common Ground.
- Provide expert advice on consent and environmental project issues to maximise project competitiveness.
- Support the Land Manager in securing access for survey works and liaising with landowners.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in DCO Examination, linear development projects, and/or renewable energy projects.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, ensuring seamless coordination across various project elements.
