Role Responsibilities:

- Ensure cohesion of consent strategies across Generation and Transmission DCOs.
- Align community stakeholder engagement strategies with overarching consent strategies.
- Identify and manage project consent risks, including cross-functional risks between commercial development, consenting, and stakeholder functions.
- Facilitate close cooperation between Consenting and Engineering teams to maintain project design flexibility and manage consent risks.
- Drive cohesion between consent, commercial development, and stakeholder teams, including scheduling pre-construction activities.
- Ensure consistency and alignment between Examination and Pre-Construction Discharge teams, focusing on scheduling and budgets.
- Support decision-making processes to develop recommendations for Project/Programme Directors.
- Provide expert advice on advocacy requirements concerning key project risks.
- Oversee the development of positions on key consenting topics and ensure alignment of key messages.
- Drive a joined-up approach to external stakeholder and community engagement.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Proven experience in managing consent strategies within large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and community relations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
