Project Development Manager
 
Location: France
 
Our clients are currently looking for a new Project Development Manager to be part of and support their expansion plan, especially regarding advanced wind turbine projects. This position is to be based in Paris or Lyon. The Project Development Manager will report to the Permitting Coordinator.
 
Scope

• Managing the whole permitting process of the assigned projects
• Coordinating external project developers and land hunters assuring compliance with the signed land leases agreements and deliverables to optimize projects
• Coordinating internal resources (GIS, wind, electrical, environment, landscape)
• Being the face of the company for local stakeholders, local citizen and main farmers/land owners of the projects
• Performing technical and urbanism feasibility on projects
• Coordinate environmental assessment and building permit applications
• Drafting and presenting project budgets and timelines
• Managing the budget, timeline and resources allocated to the assigned projects
• Managing the project’s instruction related legal processes (completeness, additional studies, public enquiry, appeal period)

 
Required

• Has at least four years of experience working in the development of wind or solar projects
• Is fluent in French, with strong communication skills in both languages
• Has an ability to work in several projects, with different maturity level at the same time
• Has good project management skills, with proven experience of delivering on time, within quality and budget
• Has strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Is autonomous
• Has a driving license and is prepared to travel throughout different regions in France
• Green field wind or solar project development in France from land scouting to RTB phase, incl. knowing and complying with national, regional and local regulation
• Leadership skills
• Written and oral communication in English
