Solar Jobs in Spain

The Spanish government says it aims to deploy 76 GW of cumulative PV capacity and 22 GW of storage by the end of this decade. The old version of the national energy strategy had set a PV target of 39 GW. Renewable energy is currently experiencing substantial development in Spain. With the goal of reaching climate neutrality by 2050, the country is implementing measures to achieve a 100 percent renewable electricity mix by that year. Although wind is currently the most used renewable resource in the Mediterranean country, solar energy is growing at a very fast pace. In fact, the solar capacity installed has quadrupled in the last five years. In 2022, Spain was the fifth country worldwide in terms of new capacity additions.
