LSP Renewables are partnered with a leading Data Centre organisation within the engineering and infrastructure sector, and have an urgent need for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of major mechanical projects. The role requires working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry specialists to drive high‑performance outcomes across all project phases - from pre‑construction through commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complex mechanical projects on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
• Manage and coordinate combined mechanical works, with experience in this area considered a distinct advantage.
• Maintain strong commercial and contractual awareness, including effective oversight of project P&L performance.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a cross‑functional project team, ensuring high standards of technical performance and collaboration.

Skills & Requirements

• A relevant third‑level qualification (Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar) is desirable but not essential.
• A trade background in mechanical disciplines would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance requirements within a building services environment is essential.
• A minimum of 3–5 years’ leadership experience, or significant engineering/project management experience in a team‑based environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership capability, including the ability to coach and mentor both technical and non‑technical team members.
• Comfortable working within a dynamic, results‑oriented environment with the flexibility to manage shifting priorities.
• Strong IT proficiency across standard business and project management tools.
• Demonstrable experience in leading engineering or project management initiatives.
