The HSE Expert will act as the Client’s representative on site, monitoring and influencing safe working practices throughout the construction of the onshore converter station and onshore cable route sites. Client CDM Oversight Support the Client in demonstrating compliance with CDM Regulation 4 (Client Duties). Monitor Principal Contractor activities to ensure effective implementation of the Construction Phase Plan and relevant HSE arrangements. Verify that the Principal Contractor are discharging their duties appropriately. HSE Assurance and Monitoring Conduct regular site inspections, HSE tours, and audits focusing on key risk areas (e.g. electrical safety, excavations, lifting, temporary works, and interface management). Identify unsafe acts/conditions and follow up with responsible duty holders to ensure timely closeout.
