Electro Commissioning Lead

JOB ID: #6920 Electro Commissioning Lead Location: Brooklyn, NY Each member of the construction and commissioning organisation is responsible for the quality of his/her own work in accordance with the requirements of the Project Manual and C&C Strategy and the documents referenced therein. The Electro Commissioning Lead will have the overall responsibility for all electrical commissioning within the project, covering Point of Interconnection (POI), Onshore Substation (ONS), Offshore substation (OSS) and Wind turbine Generators (WTG`s). During the first phase the focus will be on securing that all preparatory construction and commissioning tasks are fulfilled across all contracts within US Northeast Regional O&M Facility project. During execution phase the focus will be to follow up on site ensuring quality in deliveries and handover according to plans. The responsibilities are, but not limited to: Ensure all work performed in commissioning is made in full compliance with Local safety regulations. Follow up and supervise all contractors within their commissioning preparatory and execution work. Follow up status and ensure that ProCoSys and Fusion is updated with necessary boundaries, commissioning packages, MCCR`s, CPCL`s and DCP. Ensure that interface between the contracts is identified and solved as early as possible. Participate in MC verification to obtain Ready for Commissioning status to secure a smooth transfer of commissioning packages from Construction to Commissioning Ensure that commissioning contractor delivers the commissioning in due time. Review contractors commissioning plans and procedures Review contractors' competence to ensure a safe commissioning phases Develop commissioning procedures and test plans for Company scope Develop plans, procedure and switching program for first time energization and ramp up of production. Participating in relevant FAT`s Contribute to budgeting. Contribute to establish commissioning safety milestones. Lead commissioning activities within Company electro scope Follow up contractor’s electro commissioning is delivered with the quality and timeframe agreed upon Experience with the following system is an advantage. Wind Turbine Generators High voltage GIS SWB Shunt reactor and harmonic filters Capacitor banks Transformers UPS systems (DC and AC)
