Our client is looking for a Substation Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating outline scope, site location plans, primary plant layout and Single Line Diagrams for new build and asset replacement type projects, operating up to 400kV.
- Reviewing contractor/consultants detailed designs and witnessing Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Implementing safety by design principles to ensure that engineering and safety risks are adequately controlled.
- Supporting site and operational teams to ensure the quality of installations, with minimal risk to Network security.
- Evaluating tenders and procuring and managing specialist services from consultants.
About You
- You must be a degree qualified electrical engineer.
- You have previous Transmission experience.
- You possess a minimum of 3+ years of substation project engineer experience up to 400kV.
- You have proven experience in high-voltage substation design, operation, and maintenance.
- You are proficient in project management.
- You have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
