We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Japanese market. This role will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and executing market expansion initiatives.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, bilingual in Chinese and Japanese, and has a proven track record in sales or business development within the AI or technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities and drive sales growth across the Japanese market.
  • Identify and develop new customers, strategic partnerships, and business channels to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while expanding existing business opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, prepare partnership proposals, and oversee the full sales cycle from opportunity development through contract execution.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide ongoing customer support.
  • Coordinate daily business operations, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

  • Master’s degree or above.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Previous experience in AI, software, IT, or technology-related industries is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing business relationships within the Japanese market.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
