Quantity Surveyor (Junior)

Our client is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to our client's team and Senior Quantity Surveyor on all Quantity Surveying functions.
• Work directly with Contract Managers to advise on the commercial status of projects.
• Assist in the review of all project contracts.
• Help the Senior QS with the preparation of Commercial Reports.
• Negotiate with contractors across all projects, including preparation of variations.
• Manage major subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.
• Assist the Senior QS with monthly progress applications.
• Perform all other duties associated with this role.

About You

• Relevant third level qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
