Manager - Renewables Advisory

Our client is looking for a Manager - Renewables Advisory to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute project finance and M&A advisory transactions across renewable energy and infrastructure assets.
• Develop and implement financing strategies and optimal capital structures across debt and equity.
• Manage transaction workstreams, including financial structuring, valuation, lender and investor engagement.
• Oversee the preparation of transaction materials, financial analysis and supporting documentation.
• Drive transaction processes from initial structuring through to financial close or completion.
• Lead the development, review and maintenance of complex financial models across renewable energy development and operational assets.
• Oversee project finance modelling, financing structures, valuation analysis and financial sensitivities.
• Assess project economics, investment returns, debt capacity and financing scenarios.
• Review and challenge financial assumptions, model outputs and external advisor analysis.
• Provide commercially focused financial insights to support client decision-making.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, including developers, investors, lenders and infrastructure platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transaction counterparties and external advisors.
• Lead due diligence coordination across legal, technical, financial and commercial workstreams.
• Present financial analysis, transaction recommendations and structuring options to senior stakeholders.
• Manage transaction timelines, deliverables and competing priorities across multiple mandates.
• Take ownership of project delivery and provide guidance and oversight to junior team members.
• Support the development of the London advisory team and contribute to knowledge sharing and technical development.
• Identify opportunities for new mandates and contribute to client relationship development and origination.
• Support the firm's wider commercial strategy and continued growth across renewable energy markets.

About You

• Approximately 8–12 years' relevant experience across renewable energy, infrastructure finance or financial advisory.
• Strong experience in renewable energy project finance, debt advisory, M&A and corporate finance advisory.
• Demonstrable experience executing renewable energy or infrastructure transactions, ideally across both debt and equity.
• Strong understanding of project finance structures, capital raising, valuation methodologies and transaction processes.
• Advanced financial modelling skills, including hands-on experience with project finance models.
• Experience managing transaction workstreams and engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach, with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Experience across a range of renewable energy technologies is desirable.
• Commercially driven, entrepreneurial and motivated to contribute to the growth of the business.
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident managing client relationships and complex transaction processes.
• Able to lead workstreams, mentor junior colleagues and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
• Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, transaction-led environment.
