Our client is looking for an Associate Director to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing consulting team, fostering collaboration across global offices.
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation within the team.
- Provide guidance and review on deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with client needs.
- Encourage learning and capability building across project management, financial modelling, and client engagement skills.
- Lead business development initiatives across Transport, Logistics, Social Infrastructure and/or natural resources, focusing on expanding the firm’s footprint across European markets.
- Leverage existing client and industry relationships to originate and secure new mandates, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings, serving as a senior ambassador within the infrastructure domain.
- Develop and present proposals, pitch materials, and strategic growth plans to clients and partners.
- Drive the advisory business development in European and LATAM markets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on infrastructure finance, investment strategy, and project structuring.
- Engage with clients, lenders, investors, and regulatory bodies to resolve challenges and align expectations.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders.
- Structure and execute capital raising (equity and debt) transactions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and optimal capital structure.
- Oversee business valuations, due diligence, and investment appraisals for project financing.
- Negotiate with project stakeholders, investors, lenders, and public-sector representatives to ensure successful transaction closure.
About You
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA/M.Sc.), Finance, or Infrastructure Management is preferred.
- 15 – 20 years of relevant experience in infrastructure development, investment or advisory, with a strong record in project finance and capital markets.
- Proven track record in business origination, transaction execution, and client relationship management within the infrastructure domain.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation, and structuring of debt/equity instruments.
- Deep sectoral expertise in Transport, Logistics, Social Infrastructure and/or natural resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, PMP, or CIPFA are advantageous.
- Additional language skills are preferred.
