Country Manager NL

Our client is looking for a Country Manager to lead its operations in the Netherlands and oversee the Benelux region. This role is ideal for an experienced renewable energy executive who will take ownership of the regional business, drive its commercial and strategic development, and manage the local team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for leading and developing the Netherlands business, with wider responsibility for the Benelux region.
• Develop regional strategy, identifying new markets, commercial opportunities and avenues for business growth.
• Drive business development and originate new opportunities through established industry relationships.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including investors, developers, and financial institutions.
• Lead and mentor the local team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing working environment.
• Work closely with the international leadership team to identify growth opportunities and represent the business within the renewable energy market.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the firm's market presence and long-term business objectives.

About You

• Significant experience in business leadership within the renewable energy sector or related fields.
• Proven track record of commercial development and team management.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy market and key industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to operate confidently in both local and international business environments.
• Established network across the Dutch renewable energy and infrastructure markets.
