Associate

Our client is looking for an Associate to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact and engage with client teams to understand their requirements.
• Respond to the client’s changing needs and priorities under the guidance of the team lead.
• Support the team in designing and developing solutions to best address client needs and requirements.
• Conduct research and analysis of sectors, geographies, clients, and competitors to generate business development opportunities.
• Support in responding to the development of proposals requested by potential clients.
• Deliver high-quality work under guidance of the respective team lead, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of deliverables.
• Co-ordinate with transaction teams to support on-ground development of projects, interacting closely with client and stakeholder teams.
• Develop understanding of commercial and contractual implications under various contracts, specifically for project financing.
• Analyze key business drivers and conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to ensure compliance with project documents and applicable accounting and taxation principles.
• Prepare reports, information memoranda, summaries, and presentations.
• Conduct business valuations and investment analysis through due diligence and valuation exercises.

About You

• Master’s in Finance or equivalent.
• CFA Level 3 cleared will be an asset.
• Fresh postgraduate or 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Relevant experience with international banks, developers, investors, or similar financial and corporate advisory institutions will be an asset.
• Experience in infrastructure or project finance is preferred.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in negotiations of commercial and contractual aspects of projects with banks, financial institutions, contractors, and other third parties under the guidance of the team lead.
