Our client is seeking a Senior Planner. This role will be is based in Elgin, and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office four days per week as a minimum.

• The candidate should have demonstrable experience in delivering projects from initiation to completion. This experience does not necessarily need to come from a single project, but they must be able to clearly articulate how they have planned i.e using norms/output sheets etc and managed works based on their previous experience. 
• Candidates with pure project controls or pure client-side experience will not meet the requirements for this role
• Experience working under NEC or similar contract forms is essential, with the ability to interpret and manage programmes from a contractual perspective.
• Must be able to articulate how they manage progress updates and monthly reporting cycles.
• Demonstrated capability in evaluating programmes, including identifying and managing the critical path and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Experience in managing subcontractor programmes and ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel is required. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate practical P6 skills during the interview.
• The role involves engagement with multiple stakeholders and is client-facing, therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• The successful candidate should also have the ability to mentor and support junior planners, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
