Role Overview:

As a Grid Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimisation of offshore wind farm projects. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting comprehensive power system studies that ensure the efficiency and reliability of these renewable energy sources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting detailed studies for offshore wind farm projects, categorised into RMS and electromagnetic transient (EMT) domains.
- Utilising advanced simulation tools such as PowerFactory and PSCAD to perform load flow, short-circuit analysis, transient stability, fault ride-through (FRT), insulation coordination, harmonic analysis, and harmonic stability studies.
- Optimising system design to ensure grid code compliance and developing operational guidelines for operation and maintenance (O&M).
- Ensuring adherence to relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, CIGRÉ, and others.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Proven experience in electrical studies related to offshore wind projects.
- Proficiency in using simulation tools such as PowerFactory and PSCAD.
- Strong understanding of RMS and EMT domains.
- Familiarity with standards such as IEC, IEEE, and CIGRÉ.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
