Development Manager
 
Location: Cirencester, UK
 
Our client is looking for a Development Manager in the UK who will manage end to end delivery of projects from initiation through to RtB; they will work closely with the wider development team as well as the grid and planning teams. Our client has been operating since 2019, and have developed sites that will deliver more than 600MW of solar capacity; they also have a development pipeline over 10GW.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Land prospecting and acquisition for suitable development opportunities.
• Commercial and contract negotiation, with a focus on HOTs, Option, Easements and Leases.
• Budget management
• Managing end to end delivery of projects, taking oversight of Legal, Permitting and Grid Connection processes.
• Engagement and collaboration with the Enso Grid and Planning Teams.
• Managing site surveys and project design work.
• Managing project risks, schedules and budgets.
• Communicating progress to all Stakeholders.
• Supporting project sales processes.
• Keeping up to date with relevant regulations and policies affecting the renewable energy market.
• Prepare project reports for funding approval
• An ability to be dynamic to aid the progress of projects (either through technical, political or planning challenges) to ensure RTB is achieved.

 
Requirements

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience developing utility scale renewable energy projects in the UK.
• Sound understanding of land rights required to develop a renewable project.

• Knowledge of Land Registry and land titles
