Automation & Telecom Commissioning Lead
 
Location: Brooklyn
 
Our client is looking for an Automation & Telecom Commissioning Lead, who will have the overall responsibility for all Automation and Telecom commissioning activities within the project, covering Point of Interconnection (POI), Onshore Substation (ONS), Offshore substation (OSS) and Wind turbine Generators (WTG`s) and integration.


 
Key Requirements

• Ensure all work performed in commissioning is made in full compliance with Local and Equinor safety regulations.

• Follow up and supervise all contractors within their commissioning preparatory and execution work.
• Follow up status and ensure that ProCoSys and Fusion is updated with necessary boundaries, commissioning packages, MCCR`s, CPCL`s and DCP.
• Ensure that interface between the contracts is identified and solved as early as possible.
• Participate in MC verification to obtain Ready for Commissioning status to secure a smooth transfer of commissioning packages from Construction to Commissioning
• Ensure that commissioning contractor delivers the commissioning in due time.
• Review contractors commissioning plans and procedures.
• Review contractors' competence to ensure a safe commissioning phases.
• Develop commissioning procedures and test plans for Company scope.
• Participate in developing plans, procedure and switching program for first time energization and ramp up of production.
• Participate in relevant FAT`s.
• Contribute to budgeting.
• Contribute to establish commissioning safety milestones.
• Lead commissioning activities within Company Automation and Telecom scope.
• Follow up contractor’s Automation and Telecom commissioning is delivered with the quality and timeframe agreed upon.
