Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Program (ESP) Implementation Engineer to support onshore and offshore wind projects. This role is critical to ensuring safe electrical operations across HV and LV systems, supporting switching activities, permits, training, and compliance with applicable electrical safety regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and maintaining electrical safety regimes, supporting authorisation processes, and ensuring safe execution of electrical works throughout project lifecycles.   Key Responsibilities: Authorise and oversee HV and LV electrical switching operations, including isolation, energisation, and earthing activities. Issue, manage, and close electrical permits to work in line with safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Electrical Safety Rules and LOTO procedures. Conduct electrical risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across onshore and offshore sites. Coordinate closely with technicians, engineers, and offshore crews to ensure safe execution of electrical works. Act as a point of contact during electrical incidents or emergencies, supporting fault isolation and system recovery. Monitor electrical systems and support fault detection via SCADA and related systems. Maintain accurate documentation, switching logs, safety records, and compliance reports. Support commissioning, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning phases of wind projects. Deliver or support electrical safety training for HV and LV systems. Provide technical input to electrical design reviews and project safety documentation.   Candidate Profile: Completed formal electrical education (electrical apprenticeship or equivalent). Authorised HV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with experience in wind turbine systems. Strong experience with HV and LV switching operations in onshore and offshore wind environments.
