Our client is looking for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of Temporary Works (TW) procedures within Transmission projects.

his position is integral to maintaining high standards of safety and quality, directly impacting the success of various projects. The team environment is collaborative and dynamic, offering a platform for continuous learning and professional growth. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and controlling risks, overseeing inspections and audits, and providing technical advice to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of Temporary Works (TW) procedures on Transmission projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of TW activities and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
• Coordinate and oversee inspections and audits of TW installations, ensuring they meet quality standards and conform to design specifications.
• Provide expert technical advice on TW items to project teams, assisting in the effective planning and execution of TW activities.
• Analyse survey data and other relevant information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for process improvement and optimisation.
• Stay up to date with new processes, procedures, and industry trends, continuously developing knowledge and skills in the field.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge in developing, implementing, and managing Temporary Works procedures.
• Strong, demonstrable skills in conducting risk assessments related to Temporary Works activities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey technical information.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges.
• Ability to handle conflicts and resolve disputes constructively.
• 2+ years in Temporary Works Energy – Transmission experience is desirable but not essential.
