As a Technical Contract Manager, you will lead and coordinate the preparation, negotiation and management of technical contract documentation and tender documentation for offshore wind turbine projects to ensure completeness, consistency and alignment of all technical documents.

Key Responsibilities
Overall tender documentation process coordination

Coordinate, prepare and maintain technical tender documentation and contract annexes for offshore wind projects, ensuring end-to-end technical contractual ownership from preparation through negotiation to contract execution and continuous improvement.

Consistency, completeness and cross-reference verification

Ensure completeness, internal consistency and correct cross-referencing of technical tender documents and contracts, including review, amendment and correct implementation and interpretation of contract terms.

Interface Management

Act as central technical contractual interface for project teams and suppliers, leading the technical workstream in tenders and negotiations, and providing guidance on technical requirements, standards, guarantees and contract terms across all project phases.

Stakeholder Management in a matrix organisation across multiple functions

Coordinate and align project specific requirements with engineering, procurement, regional project teams and internal experts in a matrix setup, balancing stakeholder expectations and securing approvals for technical solutions, deviations and concessions."

Key Qualifications

University degree in an engineering discipline (or a comparable technical qualification), relevant experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in offshore energy wind (or similar infrastructure) or large complex capital engineering projects through the development, design, construction or operational phases.
Proven track record in drafting, managing and tracking technical contracts,
Solid experience in project, contract and/or requirements management and an interest in working at the interface of engineering, legal and commercial topics.
Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to balance technical requirements against lifecycle economic value and to discuss technical, operational and commercial topics confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

Must have Qualification / Experience
Good technical understanding of one of the following:

wind turbines, their components, interfaces and offshore logistics
offshore cables, and/ or HV & LV electrical systems and electrical BOP
offshore foundations
offshore installation logistics
Basic knowledge of engineering regulations, legislation and standards and of operation and maintenance activities of offshore wind farms
Strong coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex documentation processes
Ability to drive topics to closure through coordination, stakeholder management and follow-up rather than formal authority
Structured, precise and self-organized way of working, with strong planning and prioritization skills, high team orientation and the ability to build effective working relationships in international, diverse, multi-cultural, interdisciplinary environments.
Very good written and spoken English;
Team orientated and open to work in an international diverse environment
High proficiency in MS Office;
Understand how different contracting strategies impact on managing technical contracts.
