SOV Site Manager

Our client is looking for an SOV Site Manager to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily offshore coordination meetings on the vessel and establish agreed priorities for all offshore activities.
• Develop and maintain short-term (24-hour / 7-day) offshore execution plans.
• Coordinate personnel transfers between SOV, CTVs, WTGs, substations, and other offshore assets.
• Participate in daily SIMOPS calls to align all work scopes between all vessels.
• Manage operational interfaces and SIMOPS between all contractors working offshore, managing and leading client representatives.
• Act as the primary offshore point of contact for all contractors onboard.
• Monitor contractor performance against agreed daily work plans and milestones.
• Resolve offshore interface issues and conflicts between contractors to minimise downtime.
• Escalate contractual, technical, safety, or schedule risks to construction management.
• Verify works are executed in accordance with approved procedures, permits, and contractual requirements.
• Chair toolbox talks.
• Promote a visible "Goal Zero" safety culture onboard.
• Verify work is executed in accordance with approved RAMS, permits, toolbox talks, and vessel procedures.
• Participate in daily risk reviews and ensure hazards are effectively controlled.
• Stop work where unsafe conditions, non-compliances, or unacceptable risks are identified.
• Ensure lessons learned, observations, near misses, and incidents are reported and addressed.
