Our client is looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven commissioning experience on Offshore Substations (OSS/Offshore Transformer Stations).
- Strong technical knowledge of HV, MV, or LV electrical systems.
- Extensive experience with electrical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience resolving electrical and control system issues during commissioning and operation.
- Proven track record within offshore wind projects.
- Previous offshore working experience and comfortable working on a 3/3 rotation.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, commissioning procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced commissioning environment.
- Valid US B1/B2 Offshore Visa or US Citizenship.
- Valid GWO certification (all relevant modules).
- Valid HUET certification.
- Valid offshore medical certificate, including step test.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have direct offshore wind OSS commissioning experience, strong HV/MV/LV expertise, and proven troubleshooting capabilities.
