Operations Manager

Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead and manage our client's team for a major renewable energy project in Lowestoft. The successful candidate will ensure that all operational activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage our client's team.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to client requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, quality, and productivity.
• Allocate labour, plant, and resources effectively.
• Manage project budgets and operational costs.
• Chair operational and project review meetings.
• Communicate business objectives from our client's team to Operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of operational staff.
• Promote continuous improvement across quality, safety, and environmental performance.
• Work closely with Commercial, Finance, Procurement, HSEQ, and HR teams.
• Resolve operational issues and make sound commercial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
• Produce regular operational reports for senior management.

About You

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of SAGE, MS Word, Excel, Access, and SharePoint.
• Physically and mentally fit for carrying out all duties and fulfilling responsibilities.
