Our client is looking for a QA / QC Inspector – NDT / Welding to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Brunsbüttel. This role is on-site and is offered on a contract basis for an initial period of 12 months, with the possibility of working 5 to 6 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical quality assurance for welding and NDT on process and piping systems of a large-scale LNG project.
- Conducting on-site inspections, audits, and witnessing of welding and NDT activities.
- Reviewing and monitoring welding documentation (WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, NDT reports).
- Raising and tracking non-conformity reports (NCRs) through to closure.
- Implementing and tracking Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for the piping scope.
- Ensuring all works align with P&IDs, isometric drawings, and the Project Execution Plan.
- Supporting final documentation and dossier preparation.
- Contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned and CAPA processes.
About You
- SCC certification is mandatory.
- Proven QA/QC experience in welding and NDT on piping in oil & gas projects; LNG experience is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with ITPs, audits, and NCR management.
- Strong quality documentation and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with international standards and EPC project environments.
- Fluent in English.
