Vertrags- und Nachtragsmanager in der Projektleitung

Our client is looking for a Vertrags- und Nachtragsmanager in der Projektleitung to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Hamburg. This role offers the possibility of hybrid working after an initial training period.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex (large-scale) projects in contract and change management from both the client and contractor perspectives.
• Review change requests for engineering and construction contracts, including documentation and timeline tracking.
• Prepare change offers from the contractor's side, including operational preparation and potential calculations.
• Provide expert opinions and statements on operational and economic construction matters as well as contractual correspondence.
• Review and validate construction schedules or create and update project timelines.
• Work across various disciplines, including earthworks, water construction, traffic route construction, and structural engineering.

About You

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
• Initial professional experience in the execution of infrastructure construction projects, ideally with a focus on operational aspects.
• Strong understanding of operational construction topics, with in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (BGB, VOB, HOAI).
• Experience in schedule planning, cost estimation, and contract/change management.
• Familiarity with industry software (MS Project, ASTA Powerproject, TILOS, RIB iTWO).
• Fluent in German (C2 level) with strong communication and negotiation skills in the interest of the client.
