Our Client’s Major O&M Campaigns department within Offshore Operations is looking for a Project Manager – Major Components to support planning and execution of Major Component Campaigns for the current and future portfolio. You will be responsible for the readiness and planning of reactive and proactive major component campaigns, and implement strategies to reduce response time to a major component failure. You will be working together with responsible colleagues at sites and central teams including maintenance optimization, marine and technical project management & supply chain as well as engineering functions.

Your tasks:
  • Support readiness for major component campaigns on WTG technologies >5MW
  • Support major marine campaigns for major component exchanges using Jack Up Vessels including scheduling and operational and commercial scope prioritization
  • Develop strategies for major component logistics in the future portfolio and improve logistical performance
  • Support managing a fleetwide portfolio of major component and Jack-up vessel activities ensuring a high standard of safety driving operational performance and commercial value
  • Support onboard project managers and marine engineers and steer campaign execution
  • Support the technical part of the vessel procurement process by performing project management and driving the tender processes and support contractual negotiations
  • Act as the interface between the technical execution team and marine project management and support strategic sourcing and management of required tooling
  • Ensure availability of the required marine assets and logistics as well as relevant service contracts
  • Optimize campaign performance and marine operations across the fleet, drive cost-efficiencies and reduce downtime by identifying synergies across the fleet
  • Optimize project management and portfolio management processes
  • Monitor spare parts, tooling, resources, vessel performance and availability
  • Work closely with technical and commercial functions
  • Lead clear and consistent communication with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, translating complex project details into actionable updates, creating transparency and visibility, facilitating meetings, and ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and expectations
  • Coordinate internal and external parties, departments, functions and tasks, such as consenting, engineering, risk management, insurance, controlling, HSSE, sites, authorities etc.

Your profile:
  • A background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering or Offshore Project Management.
  • Proven track record in Offshore Wind
  • Deep understanding and proven operational experience WTG technology & heavy lift experience
  • At least 3 years of experience managing offshore or onshore projects
  • English language fluency, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Structured thinking with, independent development of methods and procedures
  • Willingness to travel (primarily UK/Central Europe) and spend limited periods offshore to ensure campaign success

Nice to have:
  • GWO-certified with practical offshore wind experience, enabling flexibility to support offshore project activities when required.
