Project Manager - HV

Our client is looking for a Project Manager - HV to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Germany. In this role, you will be part of a newly established Power Systems Team, working on your own projects while also providing technical expertise to colleagues across the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Project management for the planning and routing of high and extra-high voltage power lines (overhead lines and cable routes).
• Preparation of route planning and approval documents, including quality control of the planning documents and coordination with participating partners and authorities.
• Support in preparing technical proposals.
• Respond to tenders and support business development for clients in the field of route planning and pipeline design.
• Maintain close contact with customers and conduct continuous communication regarding work results, both verbally and in writing.

About You

• You have successfully completed a degree in surveying, geography, geoinformatics, geophysics, civil engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of professional experience in the planning of route projects, preferably for overhead lines of 110 kV, 220 kV, and 380 kV.
• You possess technical knowledge of overhead line construction and the relevant regulations, laws, and technical standards related to route planning.
• You have good general computer skills and experience with FM-Profil, SEIL++, FIMS3, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and QGIS.
• You demonstrate a solution-oriented and confident approach to dealing with customers and partners.
• You are a team player, flexible, and possess excellent organizational skills.
• You complete tasks independently and have a structured way of working.
• You have a passion for sustainability and a strong interest in renewable energies and their diverse technologies.
• You have fluent German skills and can communicate excellently in English.
