Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major renewable energy project. You will manage essential utility infrastructure projects across power transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and grid connection frameworks, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams, aligning civil, mechanical, electrical, and commercial workstreams.
• Provide safety leadership by overseeing Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments while maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
• Partner with planning teams to build, monitor, and update robust delivery schedules while managing resource allocation.
• Lead risk mitigation strategies and resolve technical or contractual issues. Manage NEC contract frameworks, oversee subcontractor procurement, and support monthly CVR reporting to achieve financial targets.
• Maintain proactive communication and build strong working relationships with key client representatives, internal teams, and external regulatory bodies.
• Address design and technical challenges during execution, ensuring full CDM compliance and supporting Principal Contractor duties where required.

About You

• Demonstrable track record managing energy, power, or utility projects, specifically within electrical transmission and distribution (11kV–400kV).
• Technical grounding in HV networks, substations, switchgear, and civil utility construction environments.
• Practical working knowledge of NEC contracts, commercial governance, and CVR processes.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, cost-control, and scheduling capabilities.
• Competency with standard digital project management tools and software platforms.
