Project Engineer/SAP

Our client is looking for a Project Engineer/SAP to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This is a full-time role based in Marlow, with the flexibility for partial remote work. The Project Engineer will lead and manage HV construction projects involving 11kV and 33kV systems, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HV construction projects involving 11kV and 33kV systems.
• Coordinate with design and delivery teams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Ensure compliance with DNO/IDNO standards and industry regulations.
• Oversee technical aspects of installations and manage project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Perform risk assessments and implement cost control measures.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.

About You

• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Expertise in project management, including scheduling, cost control, and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in project engineering, focusing on HV systems (11/33kV) and technical designs.
• Senior Authorised Person 11/33kV UG DNO trained and previously authorised.
• Experience in commissioning secondary switchgear.
• DNO audit experience for NERS ICP works.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, especially in HV and renewables integration.
• Familiarity with UK DNO/IDNO standards and regulations.
• HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as SMSTS or IOSH, are an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
